1. Summary
Cosigned uses minimal, necessary cookies and browser storage technologies to operate the platform securely. We do not use third-party advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or tracking pixels.
2. Strictly Necessary Authentication Cookies
When you sign in to Cosigned using Google OAuth, our authentication provider (Supabase Auth) sets session cookies in your browser to keep you securely signed in as you navigate between pages. These cookies are strictly necessary for authenticated functionality (such as submitting products, managing your dashboard, or Cosigning) and cannot be disabled without breaking authentication.
3. Browser Session & Local Storage
Cosigned utilizes standard browser storage APIs for specific, non-tracking platform functions:
- Session Storage (sessionStorage): A temporary session identifier (such as
cosigned_sid) may be maintained in your browser during your active browsing session solely to deduplicate visit counts for private builder analytics. It expires when your browser tab or window is closed. - Local Storage (localStorage): May be used to temporarily cache dashboard interface preferences or lightweight product metrics to provide fast, responsive client-side navigation.
4. Analytics Cookies
Cosigned does not currently use third-party analytics cookies. Public page visits are recorded server-side for private builder traffic metrics without cross-site tracking or behavioral profiling.
5. Third-Party Services & External Links
When you interact with third-party services linked from Cosigned, those external parties may set cookies under their own policies:
- Google: When authenticating via Google OAuth, Google processes credentials and sets cookies on its own domain according to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms.
- Third-Party AI Services: If you use an "Ask AI" feature, your browser opens an external AI provider website directly with a pre-filled query. Any cookies or storage on those third-party sites are governed by their respective privacy policies.
6. Managing Cookies
You can control, review, or clear cookies and browser storage at any time through your browser settings. Please note that blocking or deleting strictly necessary authentication cookies will log you out and prevent sign-in from functioning.
7. Contact
If you have questions about our use of cookies or browser storage, please reach out via our contact page.
